AVP, OPERATIONS - Opportunity to play a key role in the continuing operations of a medium-sized independent corporation which is involved in drilling, operations, and investment. This is a new position requiring eight to ten years experience. Reports to the GM. Must be able to supervise drilling and completions operations of deep high pressure wells and organize/manage drilling programs to include supervision of well site consultants. Must know preparation of drilling prognosis and have hands-on management of drilling of deep high pressure wells. Requires ability to evaluate existing properties with skills required in buying properties and judging all engineering risks involved in acquisitions. OPERATIONS ENGINEER - Opportunity to join a large independent oil and gas exploration company who is seeking an Operations Engineer to manage drilling and completion programs in West, South and East Texas, Barnett Shale as well as Mississippi, Wyoming and other states. The candidate should have an engineering degree, preferably either Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of ten years of experience in direct supervision of drilling and completion operations of deep high pressure wells and horizontal drilling.
